The regular measurement of International Normalized Ratio (INR) is an essential component in the management of patients receiving warfarin treatment. We manufacture a range of products to monitor warfarin therapy using the Prothrombin Time (PT) method.
The activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT or aPTT) is a coagulation measurement used for assessing low-dose heparin therapy and screening for the role of haemostasis’ intrinsic and typical pathway. We manufacture a number of reagents that can be used to give an APTT within a laboratory environment.
Near-patient testing (NPT) or Point of Care Testing (POCT) are analytical procedures that can be performed by healthcare workers outside of the conventional laboratory environment. Diagnostic Reagents supply both reagents and controls for NPT of a patients blood for warfarin therapy control.
Activated Protein C Resistance (APCR) is a hypercoagulability, characterised by a lack of reponse to Activated Protein C (APC) and resulting in an increased risk of venous thrombosis. We supply highly sensitive screening and determination test kits that can be used manually or on semi-automated and automated devices.
Diagnostic Reagents have devised a unique venom based test system for the screening of lupus anticoagulant. This, coupled with our Activated APTT and RVV based tests forms a comprehensive screening solution for lupus anticoagulants.
We manufacture a number of reagents and standards to assist in the estimation of a patients haemoglobin level.
With a significant freeze dryer capacity on site, we are able to offer a cycle development and lyophilisation service.
